Low potassium: symptoms

What is potassium used for?
When you think about the nutrients our body needs, it is difficult that the first word that comes to mind is potassium. Yet, it should.
Potassium concentrates in the cells and performs several functions: it helps nerves and muscles to communicate, carries other nutrients, keeps the kidneys functioning properly, and prevents sodium values from reaching too high peaks.

The signs that your body needs potassium.
Weakness, fatigue, muscle cramps, abdominal swelling: there are some signs that can be linked to a potassium deficiency and that it is useful not to underestimate. Usually, to restore an adequate level of potassium, a diet rich in fruits and vegetables should suffice. If necessary, the use of specific mineral salt supplements can be used.
